Deacon Geoff Bennett

Geoff Bennett graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in Production & Operations Management. He worked as an energy trader in Houston, Texas, for 12 years before leaving the private sector in 2000 to work for Catholic Charities in Houston. There, he spent time doing case management for senior citizens and supervising the AIDS ministry and undocumented minors ministry. He moved to Denver in 2007 to become the Vice President of Shelter and Community Outreach for Catholic Charities in Denver, where he was responsible for agency shelters, emergency assistance, and immigration in Denver, Fort Collins, Greeley, and the Western Slope. After being ordained as a Deacon in June of 2017, Geoff was given the opportunity to transfer from his role as Vice President of Shelters to become Vice President of Parish and Community Relations.
